Professional success... a nice home and family... a secure,
comfortable lifestyle. Many Americans are fortunate enough
to "have it all." Yet some of us can't shake the nagging sense
that something is amiss in our lives. We find ourselves troubled
by a spreading rash of corporate scandals, a materialistic,
media-driven culture, and a dearth of authority figures who lead by example. And we feel a deep yearning for a simpler time... a time when there was less blurring of right and wrong and a handshake was enough to seal any deal.

Of course, no one can legislate morality, civility, or ethical behavior. Laws and rules cannot substitute for personal principles. What's needed isn't more regulation, but more inspiration. That is what the Center for Cowboy Ethics and Leadership works to provide.

VALUES THAT BRING US TOGETHER
The Center works to highlight the values that are part of our heritage — values all Americans can share, no matter what our politics, our religion, or our station in life. We do this through:

• BOOKS and DVDs
• SPEAKING before audiences all across the country
• WORKING WITH OTHERS, partnering with business, community, and educational groups
on selected events and projects that are in keeping with our focus and objectives

To schedule a speaking engagement, book signing event, or media interview with Jim Owen, please contact the Center at (575) 437-3606 or via e-mail at center@cowboyethics.org.
