The photographers and poet represented on the following pages were partners in shaping the book, Cowboy Values. Not only was their work an abiding source of inspiration, they were active participants in giving our ideas visual expression. We are confident in saying that those who contributed did so because they believed in the book's message. Otherwise, they would not have spent so many hours sifting their archives for the photographs that best express what cowboy values are all about.
